Business Process Analyst

The Senior Business Systems Analyst role is a critical position that intersects business, technology, and user requirements. This role focuses on maximizing the business value of advisor and operation applications, with a strong emphasis on the support of the Financial Planning application.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit requirements that align with enterprise goals and industry trends.
- Work closely with in-house or vendor developers to understand the technology stack and its implementation processes.
- Develop and maintain a broad knowledge base of products that support Scotiabank's business, particularly those that are advisor or operations supporting.
- Support business gathering requirements and operational management of related systems.
- Coordinate with other delivery teams to execute projects or smaller release vehicles.
- Bridge the gap between business and technology sides of the solution.
- Maintain a strong understanding of business and process analysis expertise.
- A University degree with a business, engineering, or computer science focus, or equivalent educational/professional experience and/or qualifications.
- Experience working on large program/project initiatives with technology and/or technology components.
