Senior Business Systems Analyst Role

The Senior Business Systems Analyst role is a critical position that intersects business, technology, and user requirements. This role focuses on maximizing the business value of advisor and operation applications at Scotiabank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit requirements that align with enterprise goals and industry trends.
  • Work closely with in-house or vendor developers to understand the technology stack and its implementation processes.
  • Develop business and process analysis expertise to ensure feedback is incorporated into the evolution of products.
  • Support the planning and direction of requirements phase of product feature implementations.
  • Coordinate with other delivery teams to execute projects or smaller release vehicles.
  • Bridge the gap between business and technology sides of solutions.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge base of products that support Scotiabank's business.
Requirements
  • A University degree with a business, engineering, or computer science focus, or equivalent educational/professional experience and/or qualifications.
  • Experience working on large program/project initiatives with technology and/or technology components.
