To be successful in this role, you must be a registered nurse with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant. You should have clinical knowledge and skills related to Medical-Surgical programs, as well as one year of recent related experience in medical-surgical clinical areas. Additionally, experience or training in Pediatric, Perinatal or Neonatal nursing is highly valued.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • A demonstrated interest in pursuing Specialty Nursing Certification in Pediatric, Perinatal or Neonatal nursing.
  • Ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities.
