Care for a Child with Medical Needs

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Resource Ability. As a Tracheostomy Care Nurse, you will provide essential care and support to a child with complex medical needs in the comfort of their family home in Duncan, BC. Your responsibilities will include:
• Respiratory monitoring and management
• Feeding and nutrition support
• Documentation and equipment maintenance
• Medication administration and personal care
• Age-appropriate play and stimulation

We offer a flexible scheduling system, with shifts ranging from 4-12 hours. This is a full-time, part-time, or casual position, allowing you to choose a schedule that suits your needs. As a member of our team, you will have access to ongoing training and education, including a 2-day sponsored training course at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver. This course will provide you with the necessary skills to care for our clients with complex medical needs.
