Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team at JD Sports Canada. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, fostering growth and development among team members, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Experience: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable about all products offered and providing outstanding service.
- Team Development: Train and grow a team of sales associates who are focused on delivering outrageous experiences to our community through coaching and feedback.
- Business Results: Generate business results and achieve key KPIs by delivering sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational expectations.
- Leadership: Act as a partner between customers, sales associates, and store leadership, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about streetwear and sneaker culture.
- Experience supervising, training, and coaching sales associates.
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
- Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision making, and financial analysis.
