Logistics Operations Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Operations Manager to lead our City Operations team in Edmonton. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the performance of our operations, including managing surge freight volumes, cost containment, service levels, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in transportation operations management, with a strong background in leadership and process optimization. A post-secondary business degree is preferred, but not required. You will be responsible for developing and implementing both internal and external customer-facing goals, targets, and performance measures.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading logistics company in Canada, where you will be accountable for profit and loss responsibility, including budget development and implementation. You will also support and enforce health and safety compliance policies, as well as provincial and federal regulations specific to the transportation industry.
