Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at Closing the Gap Healthcare. As a leading provider of home and community-based healthcare services, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with school-age children, has excellent leadership skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver rehabilitation services to children with various needs, including speech sound delays, motor speech challenges, stuttering, and voice disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and healthcare systems to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Assess and treat pediatric clients with diverse rehabilitation needs, using evidence-based practices and strategies.
  • Supervise Communication Disorders Assistant (CDA) as clinically appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with current registration from the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable insured vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and policies applicable to practice.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year

Please note that this is an estimated salary range based on industry standards and location. The actual salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
