Job Title: Truck and Trailer Repairer

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Repairer to join our team at Diesel Reefer Truck & Trailer Repair Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on commercial transport trucks and trailers. This includes adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components, inspecting and testing mechanical units, and estimating parts and labor costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and manual dexterity. The work site is a garage, and the candidate will be required to stand for extended periods.
