Job Title: Cement Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Cement Finisher to join our team at Windmill Group Corporation.

Job Summary:

The Cement Finisher will be responsible for completing various tasks related to cement finishing, including filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement, preparing tenders and quotations, and operating power vibrators to compact concrete.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Preparing tenders and quotations
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Instructing apprentices
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Estimating costs and materials
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
