As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing various plans to assist and guide staff in meeting property, corporate, and portfolio goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Prepare, oversee, and monitor the operating budget and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide analysis on key financial measurement targets.
  • Capital Planning: Review opportunities for capital plan procurement synergies within the property.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, guide, and communicate the property's and corporate strategic plan.
  • Performance Management: Conduct annual performance reviews and participate in the hiring process.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct periodic property inspections.
  • Merchandise Planning: Work in partnership with Leasing in the development of merchandise plans.
  • Community Relations: Develop positive public relations through participation in community programs.
  • Net Operating Income: Implement and execute short, mid, and long-term strategies to enhance the net operating income stream.
  • Procurement: Ensure property procurement practices are in line with company policies and standards are observed.
  • Best Practices: Develop and implement best practices within the property.
  • Quality and Cost Standards: Ensure quality and cost standards are maintained and improved.
  • Media Relations: Respond to media requests relating to the promotion of the property, community initiatives, etc.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience: ~3-5 years experience in shopping centre management.
  • Leadership: ~2 years managing and leading a team.
  • Skills: Excellent MS Office skills, ability to negotiate and make solid decisions.
  • Certifications: Provincial Real Estate License preferred, RPA, CPM, CSM, or similar designation as an asset.
