About the Clinic

We are a well-established full-service family practice located in Nanaimo, serving our community for over 40 years.

Our clinic offers a unique opportunity for physicians to work in a highly flexible environment with no on-call duties, walk-ins, weekends, or after-hours required. This allows you to choose your schedule and work as much or as little as you like.

About Our Team

We have a diverse group of 8 experienced physicians, some of whom work part-time in the clinic and part-time in other interests such as ER, urgent care, maternity, and youth clinics. We are a collegial and supportive team, with common areas for reviewing cases and socializing.

Your Role

You will join our team as a physician, working alongside experienced colleagues who can provide guidance and support. You may choose to start your own patient panel or work from an existing one within the clinic. We often share patient care, and two physicians are gradually reducing their practices, providing opportunities for growth and development.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $250,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Additionally, we provide a supportive staff of MOAs, LPNs, clinical pharmacy services once a week, and MHSU counseling twice a week exclusively for our patients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team. A strong interest in primary care and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care are essential.
