We're currently seeking a Barricade Personnel / Traffic Control Personnel for our construction season in Edmonton, AB. This role offers competitive wages with regular time and overtime rates, ensuring job completion during the condensed work season.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies across all work environments.
  • Ensure safe working conditions by following 'See Something, Do Something.'
  • Set up and tear down traffic controls as required.
  • Promote a safe work area through diligent effort.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Knowledge of the City of Edmonton and surrounding areas
  • Ability to operate a Double Axle Truck, Tractor Trailer, or RMX Truck
  • Familiarity with traffic safety, flow, controls, setups, tear-downs, timelines of off-peak hours, and maintaining a safe work area for workers and motorists.
  • Knowledge of road construction practices
  • Ability to assist or lead in barricading and traffic control setups and tear-downs
  • Meet physical demands of the job, as manual labor is required.
  • Work independently, as this position may involve solo situations.
  • Bonus: Interpret and understand TAS plans for approved traffic setups.
