Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Southern Health-Santé Sud. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, intervention, and consultation services to children and adults with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs
  • Provide consultation and education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba
  • Eligible for membership with Speech-Language and Audiology Canada
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and email/outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

This position requires a valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00. A satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check are also required.
