Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Southern Health-Santé Sud. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, direct intervention, consultation, and education to children and adult populations in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop treatment plans for clients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Provide direct intervention and consultation services to clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement rehabilitation plans
  • Participate in education and training of healthcare professionals and students
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba
  • Eligible for membership with Speech-Language and Audiology Canada
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and email/outlook
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

This position requires a valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00. A satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check are also required.
