Accounting and Payroll Executive

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our dynamic accounting team at Aurora Solar Inc. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of our organization while making a meaningful impact in the solar industry.

About the Role

This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional support to employees. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing payroll processes in a fast-paced environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of payroll processes, including payroll accounting and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations and tax filing requirements
  • Accurate payroll processing of employee pay, deductions, taxes, and one-time payments (bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, etc.)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries, issues, and new initiatives

Your Ideal Background:

  • 7+ years of payroll management experience, preferably in a similar industry
  • Proficient with multistate and global payroll processes
  • Strong understanding of payroll accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Proficiency with Workday and ADP
  • Experience maintaining regulatory compliance, process documentation, and payroll policies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively across functions and levels throughout the company
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with a big-picture strategic understanding
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on approach to accomplishing necessary tasks
