We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Coordinator to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for processing payroll for 200+ employees on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all payroll operations.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Payroll record maintenance by tracking changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers
  • Preparing relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for circulation to department heads
  • Managing payroll discrepancies and resolving issues related to employee deductions and other liabilities

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent analytical, quantitative, and social skills, as well as the ability to effectively problem-solve and work under pressure. Your strong understanding of Canadian payroll regulations and laws is also essential.

A successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience working with Ceridian Dayforce
  • General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Previous experience handling high volume multi-provincial payroll
  • Certified Payroll detail oriented will be given preference
  • 3+ years of payroll experience
  • Payroll for over 250 employees experience preferred
