We are seeking an experienced Recreation Therapist to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with patients, families, and caregivers to enhance their quality of life through recreation-based interventions.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Recreation with a focus on Therapeutic Recreation and/or a related field, as well as a postgraduate diploma in Therapeutic Recreation.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting is preferred, along with membership eligibility in Therapeutic Recreation Ontario Registered (R/TRO) and/or Canadian Therapeutic Recreation Association (CTRA).

About This Opportunity

This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.

The Recreation Therapist will work closely with the Manager of Therapy Services to provide comprehensive assessments, develop patient-centered treatment goals, and implement leisure programs that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, as well as demonstrated ability to function as an effective team member.
