Baker Job Description

Laymoon Restaurant & Cafe is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough and batters for a variety of baked goods, including breads, rolls, and pastries.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to produce high-quality products.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • Draw up production schedules and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment:

The Baker will work in a café environment, with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity in a busy environment.
