Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Property Operations Manager to join our team at HomeStead Land Holdings Limited. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our rental offices and maintenance requirements, ensuring that all properties under your care are well-maintained and secure.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage CAPEX projects in conjunction with the Property Manager.
  • Supervise staff in their daily responsibilities, providing leadership, training, and guidance as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all matters related to risk, liability, lawsuits, and benefits to the company.
  • Review monthly financial statements with the Property Manager.
  • Demonstrate and promote exceptional customer service skills with all clients.
  • Perform regular property inspections to ensure the quality and condition of customer suites, common areas, building exteriors, and landscaping.
  • Ensure effective management of loss prevention, risk management, security, maintenance, marketing, landscaping, snow removal, ventilation, heating, cooling, and other daily activities.
  • Manage tenant relations, coordinating requests for repairs and maintenance, understanding rent charges, lease issues, and other tenant concerns.
Requirements:
  • Post-Secondary education is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including MS Office, and experience with Yardi is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented approach.
  • Direct experience is not required, but experience in a supervisory or management role is necessary.
  • Knowledge of Property Management procedures and laws is an asset.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
