Job Description

As a Residential Property Portfolio Manager at Medallion Corporation, you will be responsible for overseeing the professional management and administration of residential rental properties. Your portfolio may be subject to change during your tenure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of assigned staff, providing leadership and reviewing their performance.
  • Estimate personnel needs and assign work to meet completion dates.
  • Apply organizational policies and ensure adherence to departmental procedures.
  • Coordinate schedule changes with the Property Manager and organize departments to maintain customer service standards.
  • Familiarize employees with established organization procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes in methods and procedures in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Prepare reports concerning departmental activities as required by the Property Manager.

You will also be responsible for administering the activities of assigned properties in accordance with contractual requirements. This includes determining, establishing, and implementing effective operating procedures.

Market Knowledge and Analysis

As a key member of the team, you will need to be aware of market conditions to provide information that helps broaden the company's marketing capabilities. You will maintain occupancy and rental income levels at all properties, comparing them favorably with the competition.

Financial Management

Your financial responsibilities will include collecting rents due in the minimum time possible. You will also complete all forms and reports to develop and maintain correct master files, rent rolls, and other data required for the proper functioning of the company.

Customer Service and Communication

You will communicate with clients or their designated representatives in a timely, professional manner. Internal communication is also essential to ensure that all staff is informed of manager initiatives and operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require 3-5 years of experience in property management, preferably in residential environments. Computer experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, is also necessary.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000.
