Field Service Technician

At PeopleToGo, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deskside Support professional to join our team. As a Deskside Support specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients on a variety of hardware and software issues.
Responsibilities:- Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, and other devices.
- Handle software installation, support, and upgrades.
- Provide deskside support services, including installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network related issues.
- Offer 1st level Help Desk support and respond to customer inquiries.
- Perform basic LAN and internetworking related activities.
- Handle bench repairs and remedial maintenance.
- Communicate with customers to diagnose problems, establish E.T.A., and parts requirements.
- 1-2 years of field service experience in hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities.
- 1-2 years of deskside support experience.
- Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
- A+ certification.
- May have other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
- Available to work flexible schedules.
- Minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
