Job Title: Decision Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Decision Support Specialist to join our team at Brockton and Area Family Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice to senior managers and officials, maintaining and updating health information databases, and analyzing statistical information to inform healthcare decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to senior managers and officials on healthcare-related matters
  • Maintain and update health information databases to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Analyze statistical information from private and public healthcare institutions to inform healthcare decisions
  • Compile and present reports on healthcare trends and statistics
  • Monitor and evaluate healthcare programs to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop and implement health and wellness projects or programs to improve healthcare outcomes
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of health projects and programs to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement healthcare strategies
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field (e.g. health administration, public health)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field (e.g. healthcare administration, data analysis)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SQL
