Job Title: Decision Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Decision Support Specialist to join our team at Brockton and Area Family Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice to senior managers and officials, maintaining and updating health information databases, and analyzing statistical information to inform healthcare programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to senior managers and officials on healthcare-related matters
  • Maintain, update, and manage health information databases to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Analyze statistical information from private and public healthcare institutions and organizations to inform healthcare programs
  • Compile and present reports on healthcare trends and statistics
  • Monitor and evaluate healthcare programs to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
  • Present the views of the association or organization to members, the media, and the general public
  • Organize conferences and meetings to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations on healthcare-related matters
  • Design and implement health and wellness projects or programs to improve healthcare outcomes
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of health projects and programs to identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary projects to ensure effective collaboration and communication
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as healthcare administration or public health
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and statistics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Access, and SQL
  • Experience with electronic medical records and health information databases
