Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cloud optimization strategies to drive business value and improve operational efficiency
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cloud cost savings and develop plans to achieve them
  • Collaborate with the Platform Architecture and IT Operations teams to identify and manage platform TCO across on-premise and cloud ecosystems
  • Build cost optimization frameworks by reporting on granular cloud utilization costs and working with application teams to identify cost optimization opportunities
  • Establish a financial forecasting model for cloud consumption and establish multiple levels of financial reporting of costs across on-premise and cloud platforms

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Strong experience in traditional IT and cloud ecosystems
  • Demonstrated leadership experience defining and building a FinOps framework (people, process, technology) in a complex organization
  • Experience in effectively partnering with Architecture, Operations, and Development teams on cloud assessments and migrations
  • Strong hands-on technical knowledge in FinOps, technology TCO, financial forecasting, cloud operations, SRE/NoOps, business cases, financial reporting, cloud metrics/KPIs
