About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and flexible individual to join our team at South City Truck Centre as a Mechanic's Helper. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our mechanics and technicians in the day-to-day operations of our truck centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Mechanics and Technicians: Provide support to our skilled tradespeople in the maintenance and repair of trucks and equipment.
  • Move Equipment and Materials: Safely move tools, equipment, and other materials as required.
  • Clean and Maintain Work Areas: Ensure that work areas are clean and organized, and that equipment is properly maintained.
  • Assist with Operations: Assist in the operation, repair, and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential for this role.
What We Offer
