About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Goldwealth and Sons Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting our mechanics and tradespersons in maintaining our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Mechanics and Tradespersons: Provide support to our mechanics and tradespersons in performing daily tasks, including moving tools and equipment, and helping with various projects.
  • Transportation and Logistics: Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
  • Instrument Experience: Assist with the use and maintenance of mechanical instruments and equipment.
  • Area of Specialization: Focus on supporting our motor vehicle operations, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure compliance with company security protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Possess a valid driver's license and be willing to use personal transportation for work-related purposes.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments, with the ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Weight Handling: Lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and handle heavy equipment with care.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate dependability, organization, and teamwork skills.
