About the Role
The Food Service Team Lead is responsible for supervising department employees, providing guidance and coaching on customer service and operational procedures, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality customer experiences.
Main Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service and support the Farm Boy vision of providing the best fresh shopping experience
• Supervise department employees and provide guidance on customer service and operational procedures
• Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, adhering to quality standards and company policies
• Assist with training new team members and maintaining a positive work environment
• Communicate corporate and department information, changes, and updates to team members
• Review and verify department invoices for accuracy
• Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
• Partial completion of a post-secondary program, plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Superior customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Clear and effective communication style, both written and oral
• Ability to work with little supervision, maintaining a high standard for quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness
• Good judgment and decision-making abilities
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum
