Insurance Agent Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Agent to join our team at Co-operators. As a Personal Lines Insurance Agent, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional client service and sales support to our clients in Quebec.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell auto and property insurance to clients by identifying their insurance needs and responding to cross-channel leads in a timely fashion.
  • Apply underwriting guidelines to provide quotes and upsell/cross-sell other product lines through referrals.
  • Contribute to the overall sales growth plan by achieving individual sales, quality, and productive goals.
  • Provide exceptional client service by responding to client inquiries and concerns, resolving complaints, and escalating matters appropriately.
  • Maintain client retention by supporting referrals and effectively communicating with clients who inquire about cancellation.
Requirements:
  • One year of experience in an office environment.
  • Some post-secondary education.
  • Knowledge of underwriting practices and home and auto insurance products is an asset.
  • The Personal lines Damage Insurance Licence delivered by l'Autorité des marchés financiers du Québec (AMF) is an asset.
