Mill Mechanic Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Mill Mechanic Assistant to support our tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in the maintenance and repair of our equipment. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair. Key responsibilities include cleaning machines and work areas, assisting tradespersons, and providing support to other workers as directed. The successful candidate will be a team player with strong reliability and communication skills. We offer a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package, as per collective agreement. We also provide support for newcomers and refugees, including foreign credential recognition, and for Indigenous people, including developing and maintaining relationships with indigenous communities and organizations.
