About the Role:

The Steward supports our Food and Beverage outlets in providing award-winning service by maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and ensuring a seamless guest experience. This role is part of the Food & Beverage team, reporting into the Stewarding manager.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using a dish machine
• Maintain the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary, and food and beverage facilities
• Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
• Maintain the silver polishing program
• Utilize and handle cleaning supplies and chemicals in a safe manner

Requirements:

• Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Preferred qualifications include prior experience in stewarding or cleaning.
• Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is desirable.
• Demonstrates the ability to quickly and positively establish rapport with a positive outlook.
• Possesses excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in Canada.

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our Overnight Steward to be flexible in working overnights, weekends, and holidays.
