About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Project Manager to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our Remediation team, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting field work related to monitoring, investigating, remediating, and reclaiming contaminated sites impacted by hydrocarbons, salts, and metals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Prepare and adhere to site-specific health and safety plans to mitigate or eliminate risks to you, WSP clients, employees, and the public.
  • Field Work: Conduct occasional field work including soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment investigations, monitoring programs, and overseeing site remediation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work within a project team playing a key role in a variety of contaminant assessment and remediation projects.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare proposals, including development of work scopes, schedules, and cost estimates for senior review.
  • Reporting: Complete and assist in data collection, compilation, interpretation, and reporting for phased environmental site assessment, remediation, and site monitoring.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare technical reports for review by senior staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Environmental Sciences or related.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental consulting.
  • Skills: Strong awareness of health and safety issues and a safety-conscious attitude, strong interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and accuracy of field notes.
  • Certifications: A valid driver's license.
