Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Esso gas station. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the counter area, shelves, and floors.
  • Inventory Management: Restock shelves, monitor inventory levels, and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35 to 40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
