We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at MIKE'S 5TH AVE. GROCERY LTD. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Payments: Process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, cleaning the counter area, and ensuring a safe and healthy shopping environment.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to customer inquiries, and provide assistance with finding products and answering questions.
  • Suggestive Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to customers, and provide recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with opportunities for advancement.
