About the Role

MIKE'S 5TH AVE. GROCERY LTD is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with ease.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
