We are a dynamic and growing hospitality company seeking a skilled Senior Food Service Team Lead to join our team at New Mountain Village. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year.

Job Summary

The Senior Food Service Team Lead will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food in our resort's kitchen. This includes establishing methods to meet work schedules, training staff in job duties and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and Supervision: Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high-quality food service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food meets quality control standards by conducting regular checks on food preparation and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
