We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical and psycho-social recovery of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas of need and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement and evaluate treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical reasoning to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
- Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
- Previous experience in treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development and FCE Trained.
- Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WCB referrals is an asset.
- Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset.
