Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager to join our team at Stonerise Construction, a leading developer and builder in Southwestern Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and negotiate contract agreements, scopes of work, and change orders.
  • Manage and maintain project records and correspondence to industry standards.
  • Expedite approval of trade contractor invoices and change order requests.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity.
  • Monitor and maintain a thorough knowledge of all major project issues and priorities.
  • Apply Stringent Value Engineering analysis throughout the project.
  • Responsible for meeting financial, budget, and forecasting objectives and requirements.
  • Perform on-site inspections to ensure standards and requirements are met.
  • Obtain certificates of occupancy.
Requirements
  • Project Management training or related College Diploma.
  • Previous 3-5 years Ontario experience in project management role with project values 2MM and above.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Bluebeam software.
  • Highly organized and ability to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
