Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dry Cleaning Plant Operations Manager to join our team at the Government of Canada - Western. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our dry cleaning plant, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management
    • Direct and control daily operations to meet production and quality standards
    • Plan and organize daily operations to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Staff Management
    • Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff to ensure compliance with company standards
    • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Financial Management
    • Plan and control budget and inventory to ensure efficient use of resources
    • Manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies to promote our services
  • Quality Control
    • Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services to ensure they meet our standards
    • Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a dry cleaning plant operations management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
