Industry Leadership: This firm is recognized as a leader in providing both engineering and contracting services to a diverse clientele, which includes municipal and industrial sectors. Their expertise encompasses the development, management, and maintenance of water wells, as well as the supply, installation, and servicing of well pump systems and lift station equipment.

Position Summary: MTS Recruiting is currently seeking a skilled Project Engineer to enhance their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the President and Senior Project Engineer to deliver engineering support for project design, selection, and oversight.
  • Maintain client relationships and manage scheduling along with specific site requirements for service crews.
  • Supervise junior staff and field teams as opportunities arise.
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports and draft invoices.
  • Handle office administration tasks as necessary.
  • Engage in field assignments and hands-on projects.

Qualifications:

  • Background in Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering with 5-8 years of project management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills to independently complete projects as well as work within a team.
  • Proficient in standard office software applications.
  • Experience in municipal well supply or water pumping station infrastructure is advantageous, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as necessary.
