About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Assistance and Processing
    • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Provide product information, demonstrate product use, and make recommendations to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
    • Process payments, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
    • Gift wrap purchases to standard and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
    • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on products, services, and company policies.
  • Store Operations
    • Maintain best practice merchandising standards, including stocking shelves, assembling products, and ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
    • Participate in safeguarding staff, customers, and product through proactive assistance and compliance with loss prevention and health and safety procedures.
    • May be asked to participate in inventory management, including processing inventory in and out of store, and participating in inventory counts.
    • Contribute to general store upkeep, including dusting, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; in-progress considered.
    • Previous retail sales experience preferred; comparable experience may be considered.
    • Demonstrated ability and interest in providing exceptional customer-focused sales assistance.
    • Able to project an enthusiastic, polite, and welcoming demeanor.
