Bridge Design Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Design Expert to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering complex bridge projects that connect and protect communities around the world.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Utilize advanced CAD software to create detailed design drawings and layouts for bridge projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure coordinated design systems and meet company and industry standards.
  • Develop and review orthographic and isometric drawings, and perform checking procedures as required.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineers.
  • Travel to project sites and client locations as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in bridge drafting and design, preferably with Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI) and the City of Winnipeg (COW).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
