About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bridge CAD Designer to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering complex bridge projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize CAD software to prepare detailed and complex layout and design drawings.
  • Perform complex drafting tasks efficiently and accurately, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Interpret and ensure conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and review orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) drawings.
  • Perform checking procedures as appropriate to the discipline and assigned by immediate supervisor.
  • Provide input and technical guidance for mentoring lower-level Designers working on the same and other projects.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited technical institute (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of related structural and bridge drafting experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Civil 3D.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and/or Bluebeam.
  • Time management, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in bridge projects with government agencies or private sector companies.
  • Experience with MicroStation and/or Revit is an asset.
