Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

GTA VAPORIUM INC. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service in our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and supervise the preparation and portioning of food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure they are knowledgeable about our culinary genres.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, and maintain a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and a team player mentality.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The work environment is fast-paced, with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
