Job Title: Lead Process Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Process Engineer to join our team at EnergyJobLine. The successful candidate will have a strong background in process design, EPC, and mechanical balance of plant for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform process calculations related to sizing of lines, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, filters, instrumentation, valves, phase separators, surge vessels/tanks, and absorption systems.
Develop equipment specification sheets.
Design and size control valves, flow meters, overpressure protection, and bulk process instruments.
Develop instrument specification sheets.
Write process design sheets and criteria, process descriptions, process control narratives, operating manuals, start-up/shut-down procedures, and standard operating procedures.
Review input documents and provide RFIs to gain a detailed understanding of the process and system design.
Evaluate the process and system design and identify gaps or areas for improvement.
Prepare and submit detailed reports summarizing the assessment of the process and system design.
Resolve reviewer comments on reports and prepare design reviews for proposed design changes.
Host design reviews or reviews to release proposed design changes to detailed engineering.
Prepare mark-ups to the Heat and Material Balance, PFD, P&ID, PROCDS, and HAZOP for approved changes.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
15-20 years of experience in process design, EPC, and mechanical balance of plant for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell systems.
Strong background in process calculations, equipment specification sheets, control design, and instrument specification sheets.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
