About the RoleWe're seeking a skilled Traffic Safety Flagger to join our Traffic Control Team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe flow of traffic around our construction sites. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Direct motor and pedestrian traffic to ensure the safety of our crew and the public;
- Prepare and set up traffic plans and lane closures, including warning and detour signs;
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries;
- Adhere to Axiom Health and Safety policies and procedures;
- Assist in responding to public complaints.
- At least two years of experience in flagging or traffic control;
- Valid Traffic Control Person certification;
- Excellent observation and communication skills;
- Level 1 First Aid certificate.
