National Market Segment Manager

As a National Market Segment Manager at ABB, you will be responsible for defining the industry strategy with the highest growth potential in the COG & Emerging Energy Industries. This involves a holistic understanding of the market and the players, as well as leading the implementation of customer account planning and supporting the ABB Sales Units in reaching sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define industry strategy with the highest growth potential in the COG & Emerging Energy Industries
- Lead implementation of customer account planning
- Support ABB Sales Units in reaching sales targets
- Act as Global Account responsible for Motion division towards targeted accounts
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts
- Develop industry related value proposition and marketing material
- Take personal ownership of key growth account budgets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (engineering or technical degree preferred) and 8 years of relevant sales/business experience
- Industry knowledge and experience in the Chemical, Oil and Gas markets essential
- Market knowledge in Drives and Motors and related systems is preferred
- Proven experience in business development, account management and cross-selling strategies
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills
