Job Description

As a National Market Segment Manager at ABB, you will be responsible for defining the industry strategy with the highest growth potential in the COG & Emerging Energy Industries. This involves a holistic understanding of the market and the players, as well as leading the implementation of customer account planning and supporting the ABB Sales Units in reaching sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define industry strategy with the highest growth potential in the COG & Emerging Energy Industries
  • Lead implementation of customer account planning
  • Support ABB Sales Units in reaching sales targets
  • Act as Global Account responsible for Motion division towards targeted accounts
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts
  • Develop industry related value proposition and marketing material
  • Take personal ownership of key growth account budgets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (engineering or technical degree preferred) and 8 years of relevant sales/business experience
  • Industry knowledge and experience in the Chemical, Oil and Gas markets essential
  • Market knowledge in Drives and Motors and related systems is preferred
  • Proven experience in business development, account management and cross-selling strategies
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills
