We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services. As a key member of our Solutions Architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our clients. Your primary focus will be on crafting highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and develop cloud-based solutions that meet their requirements.
  2. Collaborate with AWS Sales and other teams to drive revenue growth and customer adoption of AWS services.
  3. Design and implement cloud architectures that are secure, scalable, and efficient.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their success with AWS.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies to ensure that our solutions are always cutting-edge.

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
  • Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders and clients.
  • A strong understanding of cloud computing and AWS services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and experience working with or at software engineering companies building business applications.
  • Experience working with end-user and/or contributing to developer communities on innovative solutions.
