Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jeto Ice Cream Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy food service establishment.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are trained in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Train Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of food service staff, ensuring that they meet the high standards of our establishment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment that requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a dynamic team environment, collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work is required.
  • Relocation: Willingness to relocate for this position is an asset.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in the field of employment is an asset.
