Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MELT WICH FOOD CO. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will oversee the daily operations of our food preparation and service team.
Responsibilities- Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Talent Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support their growth and success.
- Planning and Organization: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Supervision: 3-4 people reporting directly to this position.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule of 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and have a strong understanding of the culinary industry.
