Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, or Saskatchewan. This is a hybrid work opportunity that offers the flexibility to work from an AECOM office, remote location, or client site.

The successful candidate will report to the Regional Finance Director and partner with Operations to drive financial performance and compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing guidance to employees within established policies
  • Recommending changes to policies and establishing procedures
  • Working on issues of diverse scope, analyzing situations and data to evaluate various factors
  • Acting as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and resolve technical problems
  • Managing the coordination of activities of a group or department with responsibility for results

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field, plus 10 years of relevant financial management experience and 2 years in leadership. Professional accounting designation, such as CPA, is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial insights to Business Line management, focusing on enhancing working capital, operating cash flow, and P&L performance
  • Monitor, report, and analyze financial performance for operational and project-related activities
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities, proactively addressing potential issues
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, AECOM policies, and ethical standards
  • Maintain effective controls related to AECOM's SOX program

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field
  • 10 years of relevant financial management experience and 2 years in leadership
  • Professional accounting designation, such as CPA
